Project Manageer

Akash is an integral part of our team, providing project management, graphic development  and rendering, design team assistance, project  in house peer review. As a total team member,  he works with the team on anything from basic drawing through “high design”. Akash has an  abiding interest in design for educational facilities from a world perspective. He is currently also  focused on our growing aviation consults on  services. Our team and clients enjoy working with  Akash not just because of his clear talent and intelligence, but for his kind and endearing personal  approach to project collaborator. Prior to joining  Bartos Architecture, Akash worked with working  various and significant design firms in New York,  Bangalore, India, and San Francisco. Most recently  Akash was on the design team for the new $2  Billion Stanford Hospital Project. During construction he was the lead Architectural coordinator for  electrical, AV, low voltage, security, lighting, and  fire alarm components.  While on the Stanford  project, Akash was the team’s Revit (BIM) coordinator.


Akash was born in New York City and raised in  India. His Bachelor’s degree is from the RV School  of Architecture in India, and he holds a Master of  Science degree from Columbia University majoring in Advanced Architectural Design. He has  worked on projects in the USA, India, China, and  Africa. Akash has served as a visiting design critic at the Pratt Institute, he has won several notable  design completions and his work has appeared in  various professional publications.  Akash has wide  and varied interests in the field of architecture  allied arts. He is currently actively involved in the  development of 3D visualization / Virtual Reality.



Akash spends his free time as a certified scuba  diver exploring the world beneath the waves, and  as a photographer.
