HISTORY

A History...

We are a healthy and growing firm thanks to our faithful clients and our dedicated staff. We have completed many projects over the course of the past five years.

Bartos Architecture represents a continuation of the spirit of CSS Associates Architects, which was established by Architect Birge Clark in the early 1900s. CSS was one of the most active firms in the design and construction of public school facilities in the Bay Area during the post-World War II years.

In 2007, Mark was elevated to Vice President of Dreiling Terrones Bartos Architecture. Later that year, at the beginning of the Great Recession, Mark founded Bartos Architecture as an independent practice.

We are collaborators in a conspiracy to make the world a better place - while having lots of fun. We are currently proud to be celebrating our 5-year anniversary.
