Boynton High School is a "Continuation School". When we started discussing the program for this educational community, the normal approach would have been to provide a "village" of portable buildings.

Over the course of various conversations the district and architectural team agreed that we should work together to provide a "high school" as opposed to an "alternative school" or "continuation school".

At the time, the Campbell Union High School District was intensely interested in the education of all students regardless of their personal situation. This philosophy came directly from the School District Superintendent, Rhonda Farber PhD. Rhonda and her team worked with the Architectural team closely as we developed the project program for this spectacular school.
