High School Library

For Lowell High School, the goal was to partition the space so that students can collaborate in study rooms without disrupting others.

In order to meet that need, we designed three isolated study rooms. Keeping with our principles of passive security, these connected to the main library room with sliding glass doors so administrative staff were able to see students at a glance as they walk around the library.

We also designed an isolated podcast room so that the students can explore digital medai creation, new lighting systems, a completely new rooftop mechanical system and ducts, and a location for a new AV system with projectors, screen, and speakers.
